December 6-12: Eric DelaBarre will be visiting DROP-OUT FACTORIES across the country (some were featured in the feature film, WAITING FOR SUPERMAN).
At these schools, as low as 25% of the student body will graduate high school. The remainder 75% will drop-out and to me, that is NOT COOL. The best way to help a kid with education is to teach them the importance of READING!!!

Your book “Why Not” has become the best friend I’ve been missing. I have never in my life wanted to meet an author before, but you write the words my soul speaks. Thank you for refreshing my eyes. mr. delabarre came to m school mountine view middle school in bremerton wa and i was so inspired by his reading and talking with us my teacher mr.cliggan took count how many times he stoped reading because of people talking/21 times he stopped.
